On Sunday, Julie sang a duet in sacrament meeting ("Beautiful Savior"). Pete lip-synched in the choir. It was fun because during Julie's song, as often occurs, a cute little girl popped up and started waving at her - this time it was Summer Young, Steve and Barb's 15 month year old. Fun to see them there.
After church, we made BLTs and went for a drive, just us (a nice quiet Sunday for a change). We went up into the foothills between Palo Alto and the Pacific and had a picnic in the golden sunlight, as you'll see in the pics. Julie read some of her Peter Rabbit books.
Afterwards, we drove the famed Skyline Road with its famous twists and turns...Pete was deliriously happy with the Beemer's road-hugging performance and Julie somehow kept her lunch and the twins in her tummy.
We missed all of you fams but look forward to next year, when we'll have a couple of lil' hoppers to bring along!
